Anyone use Microsoft Publisher?

Does any one here use MS Publisher by any chance?

I would like some advice as to the best image file type to use, without undue degradation, to be imported in to MS Publisher to then go off to the printers. Is jpeg at 300dpi good enough, or should I save the image file in PS6 as some other format that MS Publisher can better use?

Does publisher now support CMYK rather than RGB output? Commercial printers typically hate Publisher files and many won't accept them. Be careful too if you output from Publisher to a PDF for instance it may do it as RGB so when printed you might get a bit of colour shift, greens not being as green as they appear on your screen for instance.

I'm not sure Mike, as I dont use Publisher, but the person I'm doing the image for does as part of his work to create a football program

Nigel - check with the guy using Publisher. He may want a CMYK file, which you can create in PS6 using the Eurostandard conversion.
