Has anyone tried the new Epson P807 and if so how is it
I have ordered one here and was thinking if anyone has tried the roll feeder attachment as I might get that s well for the Panorama pictures that I like to take??

let us know how you get on... :) would love to hear your experience with it :)

my Epson Pro 4900 takes a lot of space so thinking of going for this one as it's smaller (wont be needing roller unit as not been printing them for nearly a year now)

It will be good to have some input from people using this printer. I am thinking of changing mine soon and will be looking at how this goes.

Guys I have just talked with my Epsom dealer in KL and he said that he will need to order some papers for me and gave me this list. Please can someone recommend two papers from this list. One for B&W and one for color?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1441262903.632626.jpg

Not sure if the spec gets me to upgrade my 3880, I am also as per the review dissapointed that the blacks still have to be changed over as per media type! For that reason I will be sticking with the 3880, if your after roll paper then I'd go for it but the sting is extra money for the adaptor, they may have included it! Whatever I am sure it's a great device with improved drivers and on board UI.

I should add that I'm interested in what you all have to say about it though... ;)

Just read a review by Ctein on The Online Photographer... I think he rather liked it. Said he was attempting to buy his review unit, just in case it was an unusually good one.

any review on new printer? :)

I received the printer along with 3 rolls of Epson test paper all A2 size....... The initial set up of the printer was easy, printing was another thing due to my lack of experience with printing. At first it would print nothing like what I was looking at on the screen, meaning when it was meant to be a portrait is was landscape and vise versa. I eventually contacted a friend from the Leica Forum and he helped me with how to set up PS CS6 to print and bobs your uncle I managed to make my first print. The ICC files that you get from Epson (when using Epson papers) are fantastic.
I ended up printing about a dozen A2 prints and half a dozen Panoramas.............................every single one of them looks awesome, how I never printed before I will never know but looking at a photo on a screen or on a piece of canvas is like chalk and cheese.
If your in the market for a new printer the Epson P807 is the dogs B%$#$#$ks
