anyone setup x2 xbox?

I ahve two teenage sons who take turns with the xbox.. causes all manner of arguments.. there in a routine but sometimes war breaks out..

They like playing online..90% of time

Whats the deal in setting up another xbox and telly.. i know multiple things can go on the internet.. but wondering about internet accounts/game severs... and same ip addy

The IP address will not be a problem.
2 x boxes and 2 x gold live accounts and Bob's your uncle.

it also depends on your router i know a friend / friends who use 2 x x box 360 online and when they try to play together they are ok most the time but it is slow sometime's and can also struggle to connect but it's not often you should be ok

seen it done @ lan partys (am a pc guy) so i assume it works

Hubby advises

if you have wireless adaptors for both xboxes then they do it themselves, as long as your router is compatible.

however if you run RJ45 (ethernet) cables, you dont need to do anything at all its all done in the router and the xbox.

all you do is run the xbox network set up program in the config menu (last tab on the right of the main menu in xbox dashboard) and its all done for you.

we have 2 xboxes with RJ45'S, 2 pc's with RJ45's and a laptop and wii wireless and DSes and a PSP wireless. so as long as you have the bandwidth on your connection then its all smooth running.

obviously they will need separate xbox live accounts too
