Yes
Just wondering as I've recently invested in CS3 and wanted to use at least 4GB RAM for large batch processes. Thinking about Vista 64bit rather than XP.

If so, are you having any compatability issues?

vista 64 bit running on here for quite some time. no issues with cs3.

Driver support is pretty poor, but on a laptop, it's ideal really.

Thanks :)

Driver support is something that's still bothering me to be honest. I've found drivers for most things apart from a Brother fax/scanner/printer and a TV card. I could easily live without the TV card but the wife uses the scanner a lot which is a bit of a bind :bang:

Maybe time to set up a dual boot again :gag:

Edit: I take it back, just found the scanner drivers

i run both vist and cs3 and lightroom no trouble only driver issue was for oki printer have found vista to be very good ................better than xp in my opion!

you from nairn dod had a great holiday there a couple of years ago at the caravan site really nice place some great photo venues!

I was involved in the development of vista - and the security benefits to end users are huge. File transfers are broken though :(

I know we're going OT but I'm sure there are plenty here would be interested to know what those advantages are, if you're at liberty to expand? :)

Yes Mick, just outside Nairn actually. Nice wee caravan site, lovely beach but in truth when you live here all the time you probably walk past hundreds of photo opps, familiarity breeds contempt I suppose :(

no not that one the one on the road to inverness just past the petrol station am even thinking about coming up again this year me and my better half love scotland!

is there a 64-bit version of CS3? Would you not need this to take full advantage of the 64-bit OS and extra memory available?
