Anyone recommend a repairer in Sussex?

Hi,

I've got a knackered (partly smashed) Nikon 18-200 VR that I need to get a repair quote for. Jessops and the like want to send it away for aprasal but I'd like to get it done sooner than that.

Any ideas of repair places in sussex other than Park Cameras?

Do Park Cameras do repairs?

I can recommend Fixation, they've done a lens for me in under 1 week door to door (Pro repair services / NPS)

Apparently they do, although the 'repair guy' hasn't phoned me back yet. Thanks for the Fixation tip I may use them in future. As it's an insurance claim I just need someone to report that it's fixable for £x or not fixable (ideally) so that I can get the claim pushed through ASAP.

In that case,you might be best off sending it to Nikon.

As it won't be covered by warranty, they will send you a "Yay or Nay" repair estimate.

Cheers. It transpires that PC just send it to Nikon anyway. I even tried the old "well if I bought a new one from you today can you report that it's not worth repairing?" but that fell on deaf ears. People just aren't corruptable nowadays...
