Has anyone delved inside their Hasselblad? My accessory rail has started to wobble and I assume it's just come loose inside, is it easy to get to? Anyone performed open Hasselblad surgery?

Miles Whitehead is not too far from me and although I haven't used him before I have seen quite a few complimentary posts on here so I am inclined to give him a call on Tuesday but before I did I thought I would ask on here.

TIA

As much as DIY repair of various manual cameras is often lauded for being relatively simple on the internet, I would always go with a competent repairman - especially if Miles Whitehead is so close to you (he CLA'd my Pentax MX and Nikon FE for a very reasonable sum of money).

That said, something like the accessory rail is mostly a cosmetic component and it probably isn't that difficult to fix surely?

(although I thought the accessory rail was something that slid on on the left side of the body?)

It is the thing on the left and mine is loose and wobbly! I assume it just needs nipping up but not sure how you get to the back - assuming it is from the back. I think I will call Mr Whitehead on Tuesday and see if he will do a while you wait service if I pop over.

Good to hear another positive opinion of him
