Just come back from Venice and she has drowned her phone in the Grand Canal.
To explain better we went for our last night 'romantic' meal near to the Rialto Bridge and she put her handbag, including her phone (a Galaxy A20e) on the floor under her chair. Two fire boats came past at 120 knots per second and the wave created washed over her bag. She quickly picked it up and quickly took the phone out, along with other handbag stuff, Switched on her phone and it was dead.
We went back to the hotel and tried the hairdryer treatment but next morning it was still dead and still is now that we are back home.
I presume the innards are fried but can't find out because I can't get the bloody thing open. Any clues before I BUY her a new one. As if it's my fault?
