Anyone know about the Flying Scotsman Tour on Sat (East Anglia)

Its travelling from Norwich to London, but the looks going through Ely and Cambridge.

They dont publish times on the website but if anyone knows the sort of time they may be leaving Ely it would be appreciated!!

Thanks, not sure as the timings seem all over the place - was hoping to watch near Waterbeach (between Ely & Cambridge), looks like it leaves Ely at 15.42 so any time after that may pass through.

If the timings of other steam excursions are anything to go by treat it as a very rough guide.
Last one up this way with the Flying Scotsman was cancelled, not sure why though

Go to Cambridge North, bound to be deserted, it is the rest of the week, even cut the amount of buses serving it.

Not anywhere to buy a paper or anything else for that matter, ticket machine was broken too
When the person sent there to issue tickets sold me one it didn't operate the barrier so another employee had to open it.

Still it looks nice, that says it all really for Cambridge and their transport policy

It's steam hauled from Norwich to London Kings Cross the return journey in the evening is diesel hauled back to Norwich.
