Anyone joining me in a BBQ?

If you were closer to civilisation, I would be more than happy to join you for a barbecue. As a New Year's Day treat for the Mother in Law, we took her to a local reservoir for a picnic - in glorious sunshine but sub-zero temperatures! Being a soft southerner I was dressed for the cold though.

Ha ha. Love it. I'll fetch the beer.

you are without a doubt a total nutter Marcel

you've got boots on, where's the sandals :p

Awesome. New years about 5 years ago we had snow in my home town, and we had a snow beach party outside. Board shorts, Hawaiian shirts, and the best bit...

...BIKINIS!...

I nearly lost an eye :p

Weirdly enough I've just been into Tesco and the PR announcer came over the tannoy and advised the store they were running a special on BBQ lighter gel

We thought he was taking the ****, after all mine's gas

I don't know which is the whitest, the snow or the legs.....:D

Hehe feel free John :)

this was their reply.................
Sorry about the talk about the beach, but you know, each extreme has
its own set of problems. In Esperance it hit 45 degrees, cooled down a
bit in the early evening to around 33 degrees, so we ate at a sidewalk
cafe, but then by 10pm it had gone up again to 38 degrees! Very odd!
There was a hot desert wind which burned the skin on your face as it
hit. We'd never experienced that before. However, the next day it was
back down to 28 degrees and felt quite chilly!!

we need a smilie for children of unmarried parents.................
