There is a Trials event in the lakes this weekend organised by this club. newspaper link here:-

Part of this is a hill climb up Honister pass. Great photo opportunity. Only trouble is there is no information that I can find about this. The mine at the top of the pass thinks that it starts at 9AM, but are unclear if this is the event, or the hill climb bit. They don't even know where the start/finish is.

I've looked at the club website, but before it will give me any info on the event I have to take out membership at £75!!!

So...is anyone on here a member of this seemingly secret society, or does anyone else have any info on when and where things are happening, particularly the Honister hill climb?

I've a 3 hour journey to get there and don't want to find it's over before I arrive!
 
It might be worth seeing if any of the local motor clubs can provide any info on this. If there is one affiliated with the event, they might be able to help you out with some information.
I will have a look this evening to see if I can uncover any info, as it certainly might be worth a look!
 
Thanks. I wouldn't know where to start in that direction. Looks a good photo opportunity if I can find proper details. I don't want to get there at 9aM for a 3PM event, or vice-versa!
