Looking at the examples it is like any preset based editing i.e. use it with care for best(?) results.

But it does appear, potentially, to have some useful features. I have yet to trial it so hence the question? :)

TIA for any user insights and whether 'you' would recommend it?

Seen yes, use - never !!!

But then I have Nik Software (the free Google versions) and a couple I bought from Topaz, and I have my own sets of presets on these instead; if I didn't already have something that I'm happy with then I'd take a look at Landscape Pro, but you do need to calm it down a bit as the defaults do look a bit OTT to me

Thanks for the reply and insight and as you say (bolded in your reply) the "look" in some of the examples was why I opened with my first line ;)

@Box Brownie - it looks like you can still get the Nik Collection here - https://www.google.com/nikcollection/

Its free, so give it a try first to see how you get on with plugins; the real 'trick' is to develop your own "recipes" they call them in Color Efex, its like applying several variable at once when you've chosen a style for processing :)
