Hi Dave. I have a r3000 and have been very pleased with it. I only use genuine ink because the printer isnt in daily use and i am a bit concernned about clogging.
I use ilford paper for both color and black and white. Although my monitor is calibrated and i use a ilford profile the images can print a little dark (perhaps this is something i am not doing correctly). Overall i am very happy with this printer. Also as it is wireless it can be kept away from the pc (which in my case means away from sticky fingered children)

Hi I've had this printer for about six months and have used refillable cartridges from marrut using lyson ink.
My main paper is their satin pearl and I get fantastic results, I use custom print profiles and what's on my screen comes out the printer.
The ink system is very good I have not suffered any head blockages but I always print a 7 by 5 every four days.
I would recommend looking into to system.

I have seen a few youtube videos on the Marrutt system and hope to check them out at Focus on Imaging...thanks for including your paper type

No problem I would definatly check them out at focus. I also use hahnemuhle photo rag pearl as well which gives amazing results.
