Anyone have a battery grip from JENIS for a 450D?

Hi

I want to buy a battery grip for my canon 450D, if I can not buy a 3rd party one at a reasonable price then I shall purchase a genuine one..

I have searched online and found 1 or 2 3rd party BG including the Original JENIS one..

Does any one have some input on such 3rd party items?

are they worth it or is a genuine one the way to go...

I recently bought a Zeikos battery grip for my 450D off somebody on here and it's been fantastic with no problems at all with the grip or the battery's that came with it which are higher capacity spec than the original Canon one's I had and they seem to hold charge well.

I'd consider a good 3rd party battery grip over the Canon one anyday!! I don't think the Canon grip includes battery's either which is more expense on top, one thing to watch for is grips with no vertical shutter button- they do exist!

Heres a little review i did after purchasing a battery grip from Hong Kong.

Its still going strong with no build issue problems at the moment.

:plusone: for snoop69's posting - bought one around 2 months ago - it's been in use pretty much every day since, and never missed a beat. Arrived 6 days after I pressed the trigger on Buy-It-Now. Highly reccomended. Can't speak for the batteries - I bought mine without, as I'd already got 3 Canon originals.
