Anyone had issues with counterfeit sd cards?

A few months ago I bought 2 64gb SanDisk Extreme cards from Amazon, which I’ve had constant corruption issues. On researching this, I was pointed to test the cards with H2testW. After running the test it showed only 40gb with a write speed of 20mg/s. The cards are supposed to be 96gb/s. I’ve raised the issue with Amazon and they are offering me a refund. Just wondered if anyone has had such issues? Apparently SanDisk are the most faked cards out there.

The fact that e-bay has a page or 2 dedicated to spotting fake SanDisk cards points to your last observation being probably true! I usually get mine from 7dayshop unless Amazon (NOT a marketplace seller but Amazon themselves) have a special deal at as good a price as 7DS. Hope you get the issue sorted - Amazon are usually pretty good.

I always use 7 Dayshop for my cards. After I got a fake card from another online shop.
