Anyone got sRAW working with Lightroom + PS CS3 ??

Hi all,

I got a 40D and took a few photos in sRAW, athen when i got home i couldnt open them. I then did a search on t'internet and found out that i need to upgrade to Lightroom 1.2 and add a RAW viewer plugin.

Well i did all this, but it still didnt work.
In CS3 it tells me that the colours are wrong and in Lightroom tells me that it cant open the file.

Anyone got any ideas ??
 
No ideas sorry, but Lightroom reports it as an unsupported colour mode :shrug:

Ive done alot of searching and it seems the 1.2 update means that it displays the 40D RAW but not the 40D sRAW

I suppose we gotta wait for another update.
 
I have been looking into this for a client, and this included a conversation with Adobe, where they indicated that SRaw (smallRaw) was not supported but may be supported in the future, but they couldn't guarantee this would happen.
 
sRAW, afaik, is only supported by Canon's DPP software...
 
sraw should also work with the adobe dng converter, but you will get a big file when converted (to do with the way sraw actually works)
