Anyone got an SB28?

I've just bought a 2nd hand SB28 from MBPPhotographic whcih has no manual. nothing wrong with that as it's fairly similar to my SB25 in operation, the only thing I can't figure out is how to use the slave cell on the front. Can anyone tell me how to turn the slave on and off please?

There isn't on one the '28 I'm afraid so you're out of luck there.

I have one...slave cell? Is there one? I know I have one on my SB80 and '800 but on the '28? Thought it was just the infra-red emitter for auto-focus assist...Hmmm...let me have a look in the big box upstairs where I keep all my manuals and stuff tomorrow...

the '26 has one, as does the '28DX but for some reason the feature was removed from the '28.

Cheers peeps. I thought I'd read somewhere it had one but I guess I was confusing the specs with one of the other flashes I was looking at. If it's not a slave cell what's the little round thing on the front? Is it a fill light for bounced flash?
