Anyone got a Tri Grip?

Nope, I think he's looking for a reflector but with
three sides… triangular shape and a grip in one
of the corner. Lastolite makes one… expensive.

There are some more reasonably priced similar
item on the market. Just google it!

I have a Lastolite one, yes it's expensive, but it just works, put the price into context though, my tri-grip us about 15 years old and I gave a round 2 sided Lastolite that's 10 years older than that.

I also gave some cheap 5 in 1 reflectors, they do the job but are not close to the build quality of the Lastolite products.

If you search eBay, you'll find the tri-grip copies, your money, your choice.

Cheap copies of anything don't really do it for me, I usually find out why they'er cheap pretty quickly. Far rather buy original used/SH if new is out of my budget.
Not that new is out of my budget but if anyone's got one in the back of a cupboard not being used. :)

I like to read that! :)

As @Phil V said, the Lastolite have a triangular shape
that I use when I am alone, when my sons are with me,
they prefer the squarish two handle Profoto models

I like mine, I have the middle size and it is easy to hold whilst holding the camera too

the bracket is expensive though (£80 last time I checked) im thinking about getting 2 super clamps and a heavy duty arm (£70) so I can put it on a light stand or attach it to a tripod

I was rather hoping you hated it and wanted to sell it! :)

I have a few... Love them all, well worth the investment. Reflectors and diffusers.
In case you need anymore convincing or justification in the cost area, the handle is made of tough stuff and fits securely onto the reflector. The problem with the cheaper foam handled ones is that they will still flop around in your hand. The trigrip you can hold securely in place.
The reflective fabric is double coated which maintains longevity by not cracking and eventually flaking away and the whole thing is double stitched. The steel rim has a lifetime warranty.

I'm a fan... :)
