Anyone got a BG-E7? Quick question

If anyone has the battery grip, BG-E7, can you tell me if your shutter release button clicks? Seems mine is just a soft button, no half press etc

Mine doesnt "click" but neither does the camera, can still do the half press though. I use back button AF so dont use the shutter release for that.

ah fair enough, really odd since every camera I've had and battery grip has been a physical button, with a 'click' for lack of a better expression and a half press for focus...
