anyone good at this stuff ( deleting something from an image)

I always seem to mess up and wanting to try and take this riders knee out of the picture and wondering if someone was helpful enough to help me as the person wants to buy it and I've been cursing and stressing because I'm rubbish at it or I'm doing something wrong.

I will send you the original file - i would be so so so so so grateful if anyone could help and could also lead me in the right place on how to do it aswell.

I created a solid colour layer using hte colour from the background sky, hid it with a mask then cut through the mask with a brush set to white with opacity 100 flow 10 until it looked like this.

There's also a second layer added to extend the greyish line along the bottom. Same method, different colour used for the layer (this needs a little softening at the top edge to match properly, but you get the idea)

You might want to remove the crop and elbow/arm as well while you're at it.
