Anyone going to Bruntingthorpe open day?

I am planning on going down to Bruntingthorpe tomorrow (Sunday 6th May) for the open day. There will be full throttle taxi runs etc from the historic plane collection. I wondered if anybody else was heading down, keen to meet new people and share tips, ideas and develop my budding photography hobby.
 
A report would be good :thumbs: I'm stuck on holiday with the family in Norfolk, one of these days I'm going to get to go to one of these events.

Would be happy just to see the 2 lightnings in the QRA shelter let alone see them working.

I went along on my own, I had a fantastic day with an huge amount to see. There were a huge number of people there and we were not disappointed, the day was really well organised and lots of effort had been put in to get the planes operational. I will add some pictures and more of a write up in the transport section today, but for now here is the link to the pics I have added to Flick.

I was all primed ready to go but my mate's car had a problem the day before so didn't get there. From the look of some of the photos I've seen a good day was had by all.
