Anyone from Lebanon/Middle East?

Got friends over Sunday for a meal, she is part Lebanese so am considering cooking something with a Lebanese feel. Have googled but keen on any ideas from peeps on here.

Am a pretty decent cook, think Jamie style, but prefer something to make in advance or that's is easy as don't want to be in the kitchen all day!!

Tabbouleh, lamb and cous cous would be my suggestion.

The tabbouleh is a bit of pain to prep but no real cooking. Lamb is always best cooked quickly and cous cous is also quick.

I would have to say, that unless grilled kebab, lamb is almost always slow cooked in Middle East dishes.
