Fri 14th .. Just gonna decorate my room dad, shouldn't take more than a day or two ...
Monday 17th ... one major revamp later and its almost there..

Kids have no idea do they?

Was anyone else looking forward to a restful Easter and ended up working harder than if they'd stayed at work?

Absolutely NOT.
I laid the law down last Tuesday when I finished, stating it's my time off.
Other than cutting the grass, that's my limit for the holiday.

Excellent

Unfortunately I couldn't trust my son to do it "properly" and it developed into a major make over.
It was either help, or spend the next few week-ends sorting it out ;)

I had a fairly relaxing weekend. Gym on Friday as usual but relaxed the rest of the day. Saturday relaxed all day, caught up on some TV and made sure phone, powerbanks and camera batteries were charged all ready for Sunday. Sunday up at 3:20 A.M, nice relaxing drive round M25 from Essex to Hampshire, pick up Sister, drive to Silverstone, watch Mick Schumacer compete in his first FIA European F3 race as well as 6HR WEC race, good 4g coverage so also able to watch BTCC and F1 on phone at the same time as WEC. Drop sister back off at home and then back home myself by 10:15. Today, Gym, Tesco for a few bits for work lunches then start sorting through yesterdays photos. Work is still more relaxing though.

Friday 3am start for sunrise at Winnats Pass
Saturday 3:30am start for sunrise at Stanage Edge
Saturday night out until 11pm trying to get light trails in the Peaks
Sunday up at 2:45am and up to Bamford edge for sunrise
Today up at 3:30am for another go at Stanage edge for sunrise - heavy fog :(

I will be able to lay-in until 6am tomorrow as it is back to work :)

Friday, caught up on housework stuff and washing, then went food shopping :runaway:
Saturday, normal work day
Sunday, decided it was a day of rest so did nothing
Today BRANDS HATCH BSB MEET how the hell did I manage to get pictures with a fully
manual film camera:thinking: now got far too any pictures to cull and sort

Fair play to you. That used to be the only way. (y)

Thanks Tori, I'm sure those damn bikes move a lot faster these days, so damn quick :D

I'm not into bikes, but I did go to a practice session a few years back, you certainly have to pan a lot quicker than with cars. Needless to say I didn't have many shots I didn't have to bin.
I faired a lot better at Silverstone on Sunday with the WEC cars though, problem there though is you have three different classes of car, LMP1, LMP2 and GT, the speed differential between the 3 is amazing, the GT's aren't slow but when overtaken by an LMP2 it's as if the were barely moving, the same with the LMP1 against the LMP2, meaning you have to prepare yourself for 3 panning speeds.

Quite happy with some of mine, got more keepers then I thought, might even post some up later :)

Not into cars myself, much prefer bikes and trucks
Used to go a lot a few years back, panning is the easy bit, it's getting the right shutter speed to blur the background
and put some motion in the wheels, whilst still keeping the bike/car sharp, damn nightmare :( especially when you have spent the last
few years trying to freeze any motion on fast moving birds/mammals
