Anyone done LF E6 development.

If so, do you pre-soak the film and tank when dish developing?
I currently use a Stearman press 8x10" tray but also use a 4x5 tank.
The E6 instructions (regardless of manufacturer) say pre-heat the tank/tray before processing but not the film.

Does this make any difference?
I'd prefer to heat the tank/tray/film all together.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

I have done 4x5 using the Bellini kit. I use a Pattersons tank with the 20th century cameras reel. Just follow the steps, remarkably easy.

For preheating, load the film, seal the tank and stand it in the same water bath your chemicals are in.
