got 4 pics that i want to make into one so that i can get a canvas done - any of you guys manage to do it for me?

am after a main pic at the top and 3 smaller pics underneath, maybe with borders round them?

Hi Stuart what do you mean when you say you want them all in one? Do you just want them all in a line something simple or blended together in some way?
 
Hi Stuart if you have photoshop just set your canves size to what you want then place your photos on the canves, resize and move the photos to where you want them, hope this helps i'm no expert but this is what I'd do.

Is this a pano shot you want stitching together, or a 'multiple exposure' type shot that you want merged together?
