Hi all,

Has anyone been to Pembury Circuit, and if so what sort of photographic opportunity do photographers have their? I Cannot get a media pass as i have no magazine afflictions so would be in public areas.

I'll be going next weekend to photograph a BARC event with my friends who race in one of the events. So i want to make sure i get the best possible photographs for them!

Any Advice?

Kit i'll take:

Canon 70D
Canon EFS17-55 f2.8
Canon EF 70-300 f4-5.6
 
Bump, has anybody at all even been here to watch? What is the fencing like?
 
I haven't been, but it is on my list of things to do. I've been told its pretty open in terms of fencing. Much like Castle Combe.

Awesome sounds like it will be a good place for photo's then, surprise how little there is on this circuit on the web.

I've been a few times and viewing is very easy. the fences are low or you can look over them on a few mounds, you can also get across to the pit area and view the track from the inside, but you can be a bit far away for some corners.
I watched rallycross and truck racing which were both good fun to watch

Thanks Ashley exactly the info i was looking for! Great pic of the 2CV's by the way love those cars!
 
Truck racing is the easiest to photograph as they have to slow down for the bends lol.
Nice open course for photographers to take images.
Was in Llanelli Friday afternoon/evening & spotted a lot of motor cross machines being towed down towards the track.
Would have liked to have gone this weekend as the weather was nice but work stops play unfortunately.
