Anyone been to Air show in Jersey?

Having a few days away on the island and it appears we are here for the above.
I have a 70-200 2.8 and would appreciate advice on where to shoot from and how busy it gets...

The bay is a huge area so space won’t be limited ......

Yes, twice if I recall......though a few years back now.

Will check as I might have some online.

As I recall because we were there over the whole show period.

Watched some from the front slightly to the west of St Helier.
Took some of HMS Ocean and some F15 action from Noirmont Point
Plus some time at the airport watching the movements on departure day.

Edit ~ I was at the airport the day before the display not the departure day

Am planning to do the static tomorrow and then try and find a spot middle of the bay front Thursday pm for the flying.

Nearly added my 1.7 to my luggage but didn’t,so hope I’ve enough glass....

From 2009 ~ all cropped by varying degrees taken with the Canon 40D and the non L 70-300mm Canon zoom

PS Not 100% sure but I think that year we were stood near the Raddison Hotel as I have pictures of the Anson doing a beach landing!
