Yes
Son and dughter in law are going to a concert near Tower Hill next wed, they have train tickets from bath-Paddington, then tube Paddington-tower hill.. BUT there's a scheduled strike on trains next wed!! Plus if concert ends late they will miss last train from Paddington to Bath! So looks like driving is the only option. My son say`s doesn't wanna drive in congestion area and she would rather not spend very long on the tube (It terrifies her) so wondering what the best option is? In terms of where to park, don't care about cost so taxis are ok but they have no idea about travel in London!!

Train strike has been called off Rich

Have they thought about maybe staying in a B&B for the night?

Depends a lot on what time concert starts Rich, there is parking in the area after 6.30ish [give or take depending where] and of course the congestion charging if early too. The other alternative is to drive to one of the outlying tube stations with a paid car park, and get tubes straight into town, but you are looking at half hour journeys, which might be too much for daughter-i-l. Could also park outside congestion zone in various areas, perhaps paying a small amount until restrictions end, again often around 6.30 and just flag a black cab to concert venue, they are plentiful around London, you rarely have to wait long for one.

Cheers guy`s.Money talks eh :D

(y) Yep should all be fine with the rail-strike now.

If the concert's ending after the last train and they don't fancy a B&B though, they could always drive to Heathrow, park and get the Heathrow Express into Paddington.
I've done that before when I've had to get into central London and train times haven't been in my favour. It's not a bad drive and the Express is only 15 minutes into Paddington.

Just drive in although id take the hit on the congestion charge. Much cheaper than any of the other options.

Drive to smith square, don't tell anyone but it is easy to find a parking space. Then walk past parlement and take the tube at Westminster. Tower hill station is only about 12 minutes away if I'm not mistaken. But if you fancy you can drive in further and just walk. I've never found parking hard in London.
