don't know nothing about studio work but have acquired 2 old bowens 200E and a 400E monolite and I'm going to have a go at a few portraits. My problem is how do I get these flashes to flash at the same time, can only sync one to the camera at a time. Is there a bit of equipment I'm missing ?

From memory - it's a long time since I've seen one of these heads - each has a slave cell that plugs into a 6.5mm socket, or at least it should.

The slave cell on the flash head not connected will 'see' the flash from the connected head and will fire in unison with it.

If the slave cell is missing you should be able to find one on Fleabay you can get this one from Fleabay.
