I don't know anything about editing pics, Is there a way to bring out the reds, blues and yellow of the fish and make it stand out from the back? :)

If you select the red channel in the saturation slider and increase should do that but if you are a newbie at editing it may take some explaining.


Not sure what your problem was with the original, but it looks like they have been turned into goldfish now all their subtle colours have been removed :shrug:

Was only showing what can be done from the OP's question. I agree about the fish's original colour. :thumbs:
 
You can bring out rish colours sometimes by duplicating the image and blending it using multiply. This one also has a bit of level and saturation adjustment.

It could use a bit of masking to recover the blacks though since the blending darkens them.
