Any Websites offering free images

Can anyone recommend a few good websites please where you can download images for use in Photoshop activities without infringing copyright etc.
ie: cars; landscapes for background use

Royalty free images are NOT free though! The term royalty-free means that once the content is licensed under a set of guidelines, the licensee is normally free to use it in perpetuity without paying additional royalty charges.

Purely for practising with Photoshop, I've used sample images from the cameras being reviewed on dpreview.com. Not sure about the legality of this, but you're allowed to download and print them, so I guess it's ok if they're just for your own use (not publication or anything)
