I hate the BBC and SKY weather forecasts, so where, in mainland UK, this weekend, will I be most likely to experience lovely summer weather...think sun, and lots of it!

Anyone?

Depressed with lack of sun :(

Anyone who can pinpoint the sun closest to EDI for this weekend, wins one of Betty's famous cookies!

Probably 20 miles away from wherever you decide to go. Well, that's what S0D Murphy's law states.
 
According to Wunderground Clickity click the sun will make a appearance on Sunday in York. Forget Scotland for the rest of next week, it gonna be crap. Wundergrounds weather site is not bad, I've found them pretty good in the past.

The sun will be somewhere overhead in EDI around about midday, of course you won't be able to see it because of the clouds :D . Does that get me a cookie, you only asked for the sun to be pinpointed. :D

It looks like there might be some sun in the blackpool area Saturday morning, but the metoffice are forecasting clouds and rain all weekend.

Metcheck is reporting bad weather for Saturday and some possibly clear spells for Sunday, it's insisting on knowing the county or post code for anything more detailed, sorry.
 
Tattoo is on here in Edinburgh just now along with the festival, weather is always crap at this time of year here Gary. September and all will be fine.
 
The BBC is just the metoffice, slightly delayed. I don't trust them more than about 1.5 days in advance either.

However, http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ is the bee's knees. Use the wind and weather views to roll your own forecast instead :)
 
It's been hot and humid in London this week..wrong end of the country for you I know but still..its the thought that counts :p
 
rain - you want to try Swansea - you get it easy in the North - try Wales...

joking aside - i think this weekend is going to be wet everywhere unless you get above

i use XC for sailing forcasts and accuweather for day to day rain forcasts :lol:
 
Although we have rain forecast all day today, Aldershot currently has a lovely clear blue sunny sky. Never trust the weather forecast!
