Good luck
Apologies in advance, my only comment would not have been useful -> "use the camera so it doesn't sleep ?"
Or get used to turning off and on when needed... depending on the situation, of course.
This is a problem that I had last year when I set up my 5D4 pointing at a branch on a tree (on a tripod) in my garden where birds frequently land. I ran the Canon Connect software on my iPad with the iPad and camera connected by WiFi. I sat in a comfortable chair to await the birds. Initially the connection was regularly broken by by one or the other reverting to sleep mode. I did then set both to not sleep and then all was well. No very rare birds though.
