Yes
I want/need a new phone, have been looking at the big boys and just feel that the S3 and the like are too big for my pockets, both physically and financially !

The Mini seems to sound pretty good so have any owners out there got any thoughts ?
Or are there other better-at-the-pricephones..?

For what it is worth, I currently have a Desire which does all I need, but an upgrade will not cost me anything so it seems silly not to go for it.

If your due an upgrade then the S3 should now be free
I have one in an otterbox defender case and I don't notice it
My wife has the note 2 in a commuter case and she doesn't notice it ether
But it's having one for a few days that you get used to it

Thanks for the reply Martin.
I have had a play in the shop and do feel that for me and my pockets the S3 is just too big so I think I am going to go for the mini.
As a very light user of all things mobile my contract is the lowest possible and it seems that the S3, even if I wanted it would still cost me a fair bit in either cash up front or going to a more expensive contract. I rarely use more that 15 minutes of my talk time and 10% of my internet allowance is a heavy month..

What are you paying per month currently? It may be better for you to just stick with your current phone if you are happy with it and go for a much cheaper contract. No point upgrading just for the sake of it when you are happy with you current phone. Let us know how many minutes and texts and how much data you need and we'll be able to find you a better deal no doubt

Oh, and is your phone network locked?

Bit naughty labelling it the S3 mini imho, as it shares nothing with the S3 other than the OS and looks. That's not taking away from it being a very good phone in it's own right though!

The Galaxy S4 is rumoured to be seeing the light of day in Feb, with a Galaxy S2 Plus being released soon too (no I don't get that one either).

As Joe says, if you are happy enough with the Desire just keep it and get a cheaper contract, or you could always just get an upgrade phone and sell it (my brother did this and made himself £350)
