Yes
Got me Elinchrom D-Lites set so could do with a fold away / portable reflector and backdrop for home studio work. Not really on a tight budget so all recommendations invited.....

nice link, didn't see any prices but am thinking I should buy a lottery ticket

You're already backtracking?
So what's that about "Not really on a tight budget" then?

Of course you could also make D-I-Y reflectors for a couple bucks and with some elbow grease.

Deano could you post a couple of shots you have from the D-lites as I know there are quite a few members on here who are itching to get some studio lights.

These are the ones I would go for so that last push from a live shoot would be great.

You could do your own review on them for us.

Thanks.

Got a lastolite myself the fold away type, what a pain in the arse for putting away.

W.Smith... I think you'll find it was the O.P who made that statement, not rwotton.

I lurrrve my Lastolites!

This time last year I couldnt even fold my reflector, now I can wrap up my 5'x7' backdrop in seconds, as Chappers pointed out its definately a knack!
Got mine from Speedgraphic too, cheapest out there I think.

Would love to give a review on them once i get the chance to use them. Can give some feedback though:

1) I bought the reflector grid set for them and had to send it back as all the honeycomb stuff has crumpled and fallen out of it.

2) I bought the snoot grid set for them also and the snoot wont fit on - manufactured wrong so thats gone back also.

I understand that to keep the cost down these are made in India not Switzerland hence the poor (ahem.....) quality control on some of the items as a simple check would have highlighted these products being faulty before being boxed and sent out.
Good points are that they pack away really quickly in really nice padded bags and from what i have seen of the lights in operation they are superb. Will keep you posted on any issues etc..with them though.
