Any recommendations for 3rd party batteries?

I know some people will say to never use third party batteries but I seem to have lost some of mine and need to replace them urgently. Can anyone recommend a reliable brand?

Duracell and Ansmann are well known and reliable products. I've used them over the years with no issues.

Amazon is your best bet - I've never had problems and for the R5 (don't have one right now!) I got the USBC chagring batteries. Pretty good, although I notuced they drain if you don't use them..

As you mention "urgently", I surmise that it should be possible to source and get delivered OEM batteries as quickly as 3rd party ones
Or is it that you hope the lost/mislaid ones will turn up?

It's possible they will turn up. But OEM batteries seem so overpriced, anyway. My lost DSTE batteries had a very poor life but my Olympus one is not much better!

I would consider this but Park can't guarantee it would last any longer than Olympus batts. despite what the ad. says......

Ansmann don't do batts for the OM1 either, unfortunately.

I've taken a punt on a Newell battery from the Camera centre for £39.00. We'll see how that measures up!
