Any one old enough to remember?

Well i'm not quite that old but Peggy sue love that! i do agree with understanding the words though:D

Had a brief chat with one of my wife's students the other day. She works for a local Arts Centre/music venue and recently met "a bunch of old guys" who were playing at the venue. Had I ever heard of Big Country? Didn't know they were still going! I have several '50s R'n'R compilations on the iPod in my car and love it when the shuffle plays one of the tracks for me. Of course, I'm not old enough to remember the original release but I am old enough to appreciate real music...

Funny you should say that, just been listening to Showaddywaddy in the car doing that number. And yes, I do remember the 'original' in 1961 (although it wasn't, Conny Bosewell?) .

Nice one. I like s bit of that and psychobilly. Bought myself a contra bass a few months ago.
 
I'm not quite old enough to remember 50s music when it was current, but dislike most of it anyway!
