Any local (bolton) engineers?

Axfords could sort wooden ones probably? maybe samsons on Park street and Darley street.

what are the dimensions, I can ask my dad who sources stuff for a design technology department at a school so has tools and stuff to play with as well.
 
Craig, as you are in Bolton, you might try to chat with Garry Edwards of Lencarta, (on your doorstep). He is one of the acknowledged experts on all kinds of photography lighting. He also runs lighting courses with Lencarta, which may be of use.

PS. Always getting my Bolton mixed up with Bradford. Anyway, Garry may still be a mine of information.

Craig,what are they made of and dimensions please,if tube, wall thickness and outer diameter,should be fairly simple to source
