looking to string together a few hundred images in a video styleee. My budget is 0 pence :D

windows movie maker :) comes with windows :)

any others? i don't like windows programs really (HATE media player) :(

lol give it a try - like you im not to keen on the in-house software MS gives you. But this one does what it says on the tin. You can just load the images, choose how long you want each photo to last and then save as WMV. Then convert the WMV to your prefered format and your away :)

OK i've tried movie maker and startrails and both videos came out very jolty. Not sure if it's something i'm doing wrong? movie maker was OK quality but startrails was horrendous! lots of selective colouring going on and a big red line down the right hand side of the video :(

With the first (Slide Show Movie Maker), it outputs at 25fps, so set "Frames for showing picture" appropriately, and frames for text fade in/out and fading to next picture to 0 for a movie. If you don't click on Save Video and Audio Codec Settings after Start Creation with a new filename, your previous output will be overwritten without warning.
