Ideally looking for sandisk range

It's always worth looking at Maplin...

but it looks like MyMemory beats them just now.

I've got nearly all my memory cards from 7dayshop.com They usually have a decent range and price for most cards, the only downside I've found is that they usually take a bit longer to arrive as they ship from the Channel Islands.

At recommendations for CF cards? 16GB should be enough for me.

Have just ordered one of the 64Gb cards from Amazon as per my link above.

Will report how good, or not, it is when it arrives.

Steve

Thanks all

My memory looks the best option
Thinking of 8gb or 16gb for holiday use with compact system and compact with video usage as well

Play.com had some good offers on someone did put a link a while back 8gig and 16 gig cards extreme 3 I think they were.

I've got some 512mb and 1gb cards I can sell you if your interested in bing safe then.

Thanks, but I mean't more like 8-16GB, rather than 32GB and up :p

You can never be 100% sure these days that your not buying poor quality memory cards, dressed up as top brands. Even Amazon and some of the other big retailers got caught out by the fakes (shipped in from China, mixed in with genuine products).

From holiday snapper to pro tog, nobody is going to be best pleased if they loose several thousand photo's.
I shoot in RAW+Fine(jpg), I get 700 photo's on a 16GB SD card and I feel this is almost too much.

I just stick with 7dayshop own brand class 10 32gig SD cards. Can't really go wrong for £15.

You mean £16.99?

Their 16GB is more expensive than a reliable brand from MyMemory.co.uk

Knew it was around £15 but my work have blocked their site for some reason!

Ah I've been buying them for ages, when I last checked they were quite a bit cheaper. Obviously no longer the case!

Still, not had any fail on me and they work fine even on the highest settings on my GoPro HD Hero 2.

16gb 45mb/s is now £13.99 at my memory, use code VC5 to get it for £13.29.

Your always better off with smaller cards...... Eggs in one basket n all.

I understand the point you are trying to make but sometimes it's not always practical to stick to smaller cards.

On a regular basis I can exceed 16GB capacity in a very short space of time, granted, I do a lot of time-lapse sequences :) 16GB gets eaten up very quickly.

I use mostly 32GB now and I've picked up a few 64GB too.

The redundancy on some cameras now, with dual card slots, also helps cover your back with card issues.
