If I can be a grumpy guts, I reckon soliciting for votes is a bit "off" and tbh not really fair on other entrants who probably arn't going around with a vote for me begging bowl.

Why not just play it by the book?

This is the internet. I guarentee you there will be an awful lot more doing the same thing, and a few running vote scripts (likely to get them thrown out). In my opinion, this is no different to ringing around all your mates asking them to go and vote. It's my right, as it's your right not to vote on whatever principles you based that on.

I know, and don't care. This is a personal shot of my daughter which I don't plan to sell on for any reason. That's just being completely paranoid. Those T&C's are designed to allow them to use the winning shots in promotional material to push the next competition and I have no problem with that.
