I was listening to a podcast recently ( i cant remember which one , and i have loads ) and they were talking about a Scottish photographer who had discovered he has a sight problem that will result in him going blind . Well to cut a long stiry short , from what i can gather he was / is a street photographer from the 50`s/60`s/ 70`s and took alot of images of run down areas . With his sight failing , he now has started to put all his lifes work online , into a library of some sort ,or face losing it . I may be a bit vague ., or even wrong on some of the details , but of anyone knows of this i would love to see it . Even if the nae rings a bell , can you let me now as im drawing a blank everywhere i look . Ive gone through some of my podcasts but it may take a while . Cheers .
 
Yeah that's who I was thinking of, he loved his Leicas. It's shame he died in April. He toured with Billy Connolly in Ireland as his cameraman during the troubles. Thanks for the link.
