Any body bought anything from fotosense.co.uk

I used them a while back but it was only for something like a flash lead. No problems though.

Used them once to buy a camera bag, no problems. Would recommend do a google search on reviews for fotosense. Probably main problems being advertising stock when they haven't got any which a few sites are guilt of

I have used them for a couple of items and had no problem. Bought Flash and CPL Filter.

I bought a three light studio kit from them recently. One part not in stock (radio trigger) but they told me that up front and mailed it out to me when it came in.

No problems - I'd use them again.

I gave up on them due to this very reason, was guaranteed that something was in stock and then placed an order only to find out they didn't have it after all. Lots of negative reviews but a few positive ones as well so they obviously do have happy customers.

One part was out of stock, I was told it would arrive friday and be posted same day, tuesday evening I emailled asking where the order was, they still didn't have the stock in so I cancelled the order as I needed it urgently, they promptly refunded me etc without any problems.

so -1 for the incorrect stock update... but +1 for a speedy refund etc :)

Thanks guys, I might give them a call and check if they have the lightmeter in stock before buying it.

Thanks for your help everyone.

I used photosense a while back for a tamrac expedition 8, had no problems whatsoever, prompt delivery. But what they charged me wasn't right......

....They charged me for the expedition 7, I wasn't going to complain though  :D

happy with them on 2 occasions...!

call them up to see if it is in stock first..!!!

I've used them a couple of times - the second time I was caught out with the website claiming stock but then receiving an email the next day stating my order was awaiting stock:(

But, phoned customer support, they were friendly and helpful, allowing me to remove the out of stock item, and add an in-stock alternative - they also applied the 'weekend special' 10% discount that had applied to the main order on the replacement item, and shipped the same day:thumbs:

I used them a couple of years back with no trouble at all.

I've been to their showroom (if you can call it that) for a couple of manfrotto umbrella adapters, no problems at all with them and a good price!

Bought a set of studio lights and triggers - however on the first day the triggers didn't trigger - couldn't work out what was at fault - their customer service took 2 days to come back to me - by which time I needed working lights the day after which they couldn't supply. I ordered elsewhere - they agreed to give a refund - took 4 months to get it!! Emails ignored/missed - phone calls not returned. Not a positive experience from me - although others have done well.

I think if you have o problems - their prices are good, and they stock quality items... If you have to return and refund - it's a pain of a process - so bear that in mind. They only refund once a month!!! (Although in my case it was missed several months running)

Bought from them in the past and no problems, can also pop to their shop - would recommend phoning them to place your order as their web can be slightly out of date

'Phoned to check stock at 1.30pm (they had 4 left), went online and ordered right away. Opted for the cheapest, standard delivery. Lovely ND110 in my hands less than 24hrs later!

(Warehouse express was awaiting stock and said it would be at least a 2 week wait)
