Any alternatives to the Canon G16 I should consider?

I was using a Canon G15 on days when I didn't want to carry my DSLR around. Unfortunately it came to a premature demise when I fell into a river on a recent canoe trip whilst using it. Before I rush out to buy a G16 should I be looking at anything else at the same price point (£289 at WEX).

All opinions very welcome.

Then it's hard to think of any other.. I was using a friends Coolpix A for a few hours, lovely camera to use great IQ.. 28mm fixed though. You also have the Ricoh GR but probably struggle at 280£

I had a G16 for a short time but found that I couldn't do without a proper viewfinder or at least an articulating screen. Having owned a G15 you obviously don't need those and you know how good Canon compacts are. I now have a Fuji X30 which I love, but it's not really a camera that I can take everywhere - the G16 does fit that bill I think.
