Any 1950s/1960s car enthusiasts out there?

I've been trying without success, to find out what this car is. It belonged to my great grandfather, back in the day.
Do any of you knowledgeable car gurus know what it is please? TIA

The bonnet badge looks something like the one Austin used.

Edit: Just had a quick look, looks like it might be an Austin 16 (1945 - 1949)?

My dad had one of those, I recall going to Southend on Sea in that, used to start it with a starting handle

Looks like a E93A ford popular , I had one as my wedding car in 1977
