Hello Everyone.

Sorry for another one of these question but I did a search but cant really find much.

Anyway. My wife wants to upgrade her point and shoot camera and she doesnt know which is the best for money out there.
ATM she has a fujifilm (the multi colour ones) and TBH it's not that good at all. She has her eye on a Panasonic Lumix but there is way too many to choose from and there is also so many names like TZ - FX33, 35, 55 etc etc  we dont know whats what...
We went to have a look today but our local camera shop hasnt got one in stock but they do have a sony cybershot W170. what do you guys think about that?
She wants to spend around £180 so can you recommend one around that price range? She has used my 400D and knows the function on it so it's good if it's semi manual

Thanks

If your wife has used your 400D and is fairly comfortable with the controls etc, why not get one of the Canon G series? I know that the new G10 won't fit into your budget, but a G9 may well do.

A good little camera, bought one for hubby a few months ago.

Canon SX110 IS for all its manual controls and Panasonic FZ5 both offer 10X zoom, the FZ5 offers HD video, both have a 3" LCD though the FZ5 as the better one. As swag72 says the G9 can be had for around £200 S Hand. The SX110 IS can be found for £150, the FZ5 for £180 both new.
