Looks like the separatist coalition in Catalunya is going to win today's vote for independence. Legally impossible for them to secede says the Spanish government and they have already said that they will send the army in if they need to. It's going to be very interesting in that part of Europe. Some of the same questions we saw asked over the Scottish situation will need to be addressed. Could an independent Catalunya join the EU. Could the Euro be their currency. Will Barça be allowed to participate the la primera of la liga española?
