Another South Walian introduction

Hello all
Only recently stumbled on this forum and have been lurking since
My main passion is Motorsport and Marshalling in particular,which in itself,restricts where and when I can take any snaps.
Only got a point and shoot at the moment but I've been keenly researching my first DSLR
Plenty of choice but seeing that I have only a meagre budget (and no talent),it may well be a Nikon D40,possibly the x,might stretch to a 60,time will tell
