Just received my new tripod from Joe at Red Snapper, excellent piece of kit, easy to set-up and adjust. I also ordered the Red Snapper ball head which is a good solid piece of engineering, with easy to use controls.
The whole lot (tripod and head) fits in the supplied case, which is a tough looking well padded bad with carry strap. The head also came with it's own padded bag.

10 out of 10 on price and quality - under £100 all in, delivered by courier

The combined weight is 2.6kg, but I would have to say it's an asset. the bag it comes with is nicely balanced, and it's small enough to be strapped to a rucksack etc
 
I also ordered the Red Snapper ball head on monday after 2pm got it this morning at 9.30 am now thats good service also ball head is great thanxs joe :thumbs:
 
Brilliant tripod.

The weight isnt really an issue, the bag has a very comfy strap, I have carried it up steep hills without any trouble
