I have been using the clone tool in cs3 all morning with no problem but i have just restarted the pc and when i go to use the tool its coverage is about 1px,i tried with dodge and burn and they are the same.when i hit the [ or ] keys it will not enlarge or reduce the size od the curser anyone know whats wrong
 
all the tools i select are the same the curser is a cross with a small dot in the middle instead of the usual circle you would normally get with the clone tool
 
Have you tried changing the size in the drop down adjustment just below the "Layer" menu at the top?
 
yes the size is changing but the curser is still the same
 
its as if everysingle tool on the progam is locked down to 1 px
 
I've seen this before but not got CS3 anywhere near me at the moment. I know it's a key you have hit by mistake but I can't for the life of me remember which one. Try things like the caps lock and the tab key first.
