Just had a friend chirp up about his attempted purchase of something at this website with less than stellar results.

My friend commented that he tried buying something on his credit card, only to have the card declined, then a week later, his provider ringing him up regarding possibly fraudulent transactions.

Company Information
We are a family run business based in Lancashire, our aim is to get you the best possible price and get it to you the customer as quickly as possible. The website was established in 2005, however the family has 30 years of retail experience behind it, this experience has helped us try to achieve the best possible retail and customer results possible. All our items are shipped from our warehouse in Lancashire.
If you have any questions or feedback you would like to give don’t hesitate to contact us using our online form. Thank you for looking and we hope you will visit our website again soon.
What will you get when you buy on-line from TED TECHS?
Low prices.
Friendly advice from people who won't make things seem complicated or difficult.
Fast service and delivery direct to your door.
The confidence of knowing you are dealing with a bona fide company with a long trading history.
Cameras that have been officially supplied by the Europe distributors and carry proper guarantees - no “grey imports”
TED Cameras is a trading name of Silver Centre (UK) Ltd.

That is a strange coincidence, I was looking at that site yesterday. They have a new Canon MP-E65 advertised for a silly price. It was their address that raised my suspicions.

It does look a bit suss saying they're a Lancashire firm but all contact details are for London. GoDaddy web hosting doesn't inspire me with confidence either.

If it's been imported through the European importer rather than the UK importer it could still be a grey import

Their domain service has been suspended by GoDaddy

which is why their web site isn't responding - no valid DNS servers.

Good to see GD are on top of things, must be something to do with the big TV push they have on ;)

I used to live in west block, forum magnum square (rented). Its a very wealthy area with 1 beds costing 600k+, there were ALOT of foreigners that lived in the apartments though.
